Poinsettia 2018 Global Forever Stamps


The Global: Poinsettia Forever stamp can be used to mail a 1-ounce letter to any country where First-Class Mail International service is available. This stamp, like all Global Forever stamps, will have a postage value equal to the price of a single-piece First-Class Mail International 1-ounce machineable letter in effect at the time of use. These stamps can also be used at home.

 

The stamp art depicts a photo of a poinsettia taken from above to capture the beauty of the plant's green leaves, red bracts, and yellow flowers in the center.

 

Poinsettias are as much a part of the holiday season as evergreens and mistletoe. During the holiday season, millions of poinsettia plants are sold.

 

William J. Gicker designed this stamp. Greg Breeding created the stamp using an existing photograph by Betsy Pettet.

 

The new Global: Poinsettia Forever stamps are available in self-adhesive panes of ten.
